Welcome to Summerland Music Society’s brand new website!

We have worked closely with Mannix Marketing to make our website the place to visit for news on our upcoming concerts and guest artists. I’d like to extend my thanks to the expert team at Mannix for their professionalism and patience over the past six months as we’ve prepared for this site to go live. We’re excited to have a new online home that looks beautiful and is easy to navigate.

When Summerland Music Society was founded in 2010, our goal was to create performance opportunities for ourselves and our very talented colleagues and friends. That summer, we played two concerts in sweltering conditions at a local church in Glens Falls. I actually thought I might pass out during the Beethoven clarinet trio! Luckily, in 2012 we moved to our current air-conditioned home at Crandall Public Library and began our partnership with the library’s Folklife Center. We’ve become known for our silent film presentations, lecture recitals, and programs that combine music with multimedia elements.

Executive Director Christopher Bush and I spend the frigid winter months planning our summer season of chamber music concerts. We’re hoping to build upon last year’s record-breaking performances and have some fantastic ideas in the works. Check out our 2018 schedule on our Concerts page!
